Ada Renedo - IABD PRESS Supervisor
Ada Renedo comes from the beautiful Spanish city of Barcelona, and is about to obtain her M.A. in Communication Management at Emerson College in Boston. Ada is a creative strategist with international experience. She has presented her work on crisis management, branding and cross-cultural communication in 3 different continents. Thanks to her bilingual skills, Ada has been a highly active member of the RediscoveRosarito project, an international initiative of crisis management for Rosarito, Mexico. This year, she will be coordinating the IABD PRESS team.
Gillian Suslow
Gillian Suslow grew up in Northern California and earned her BA in Communication at the University of California Davis. She moved to Boston, MA in September of 2009 to pursue a Master of Arts in Communication Management at Emerson College. Her areas of interest include corporate communication, public relations, and employee relations. She has been involved in the Emerson Baja Coalition since January 2010, with her most notable work including traveling to Rosarito in August 2010 to do communication coordination for the Rosarito Film Festival 2010 and developing and managing a fundraiser event for Cha Cha’s Angels in Rosarito, Mexico. Currently, she is interning at an investor relations firm in Boston, MA while completing her degree.
Sruthi Vijayan
Sruthi Vijayan comes from the land of diverse cultures and spicy food– India. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Communication Management from Emerson College, Boston. She possesses a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mass Media and Advertising respectively, from Mumbai University and has worked for over 2 years in the business communications field for a knowledge-solutions and consultancy firm located in Mumbai.
Sruthi loves experiencing new cultures, traveling, and learning from her own and people’s experiences. She strongly believes that culture is one of the strongest influences in the world of marketing and communication. With a strong background in marketing communication she is working towards setting up a global marketing and communication consultancy firm headquartered in Mumbai, India.

Paul Caron
Paul Caron grew up in Dublin, Ireland where he graduated from Trinity College with a degree in law. Paul worked with Accenture Management Consultancy for 15 years on projects in Ireland, Belgium, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. He specializes in communication strategy and planning, change management, organization design and development, and business process improvement. Paul is currently completing a Master's degree in Communication Management at Emerson College, Boston. His primary areas of interest are political communication and conflict resolution.
Joyce Yoo
Joyce Yoo is currently pursuing her M.A. in Communication Management at Emerson College. While she considers Vancouver, BC, Canada to be home, she has lived in various other cities including Corvallis, Oregon, Gainesville, Florida, Seoul, South Korea, and now Boston, Massachusetts. She brings a unique Korean-Canadian-American perspective and is currently working on her Master’s thesis on Asian American undergraduates and their college-choice and campusexperiences. Her other interest include internal communications and human resource management.
Andrés Leon
Andrés Leon was born in Bogota, Colombia. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Andrés is currently a candidate for a master’s degree in Communication Management at Emerson College. Andrés’s research interests include place-branding, public diplomacy, economic development, and peace rhetoric. Andrés enjoys traveling and takes pleasure in staying connected with friends and family across the world through Web 2.0 applications.
Sae-rom Lee
Sae-rom Lee is a graduate student at Emerson College pursuing her Masters in Integrated Marketing Communication. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. Sae-rom has worked as an associate marketing planner in couple of marketing agencies before she moved to U.S.A.
Nuno Da Silva Jorge

Pete Hall - IABD PRESS Media Coordinator
With a B.A. from Emerson College in Visual Media Arts with a focus in Television Production, Pete’s main experiences lie in various TV, Film, and Video productions. He initially wanted to work in Reality TV or Sports Television, But after working in Los Angeles, CA and Boston, MA on various productions, he realized that returning to Graduate School and studying Communication Management would benefit him not only for a future in the Film and TV Industry but also in various public affairs and social advocacy campaigns.
His specific interests lie in how media can be used to deliver a message; whether it be for politics, public affairs, narrative story telling, or documentary coverage of an event, Pete enjoys seeing how various visual mediums can tell stories and how messages can be controlled to achieve an effective means to an end goal.
